The Incredible Hulk Film Plot

The story of the movie The Incredible Hulk revolves around Dr. Bruce Banner. In this movie, he is seen finding a cure for his condition in which he turns into a big green monster whenever he gets angry, Other than that, he is also running from the army as they wanted to capture him.

Dr. Bruce finally managed to get a cure for his condition. However, everything changes when a new creature named The Abomination comes to life.

Initially, the team decided to promote The Incredible Hulk as a romantic and physical antagonist movie and the title they used for promotion was “Incredible Gulp” and also “Incredible Dad” keeping Father’s Day in mind. The film was promoted by Burger King also.

Initially, Director Avi decided to release the film in May 2005. However, because of some budget problems, they were not able to complete the shooting of the movie on time.

Later, The Incredible Hulk was released theatrically on June 13, 2008.

After the successful release of Hulk by Ang Lee, the screenwriter James Schamus decided to make a sequel in which they will move on with the story of Hulk. This time, he was planning to cast Leader and the Abomination as the main villain in the movie.

They wanted to have Abomination because they considered him the real enemy of Hulk. In January 2006, director Avi Arad decided to provide funding for making the movie as Universal was not able to complete the movie on time.

After a lot of delays, the shooting of the movie started on July 9, 2007. Initially, the movie was shot in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Toronto was decided because Mayor David Miller of that time was a big fan of Hulk and he promised that he will help the crew in the production. The shooting demands to close Yonge Street for four nights and it was made possible only by the help of David Miller.

Some part of the movie was also filmed on a backlot in Hamilton and also in British Columbia.

In the final cut of the movie, 79 minutes of the footage were not included. In that part mostly the origin of the Hulk was shown.

The makers decided not to include it in the final movie as most of the story was unscripted and they were not sure about whether the audience will like it or not. However, they made some of this footage public on the internet.
